The 11th Annual Conference of the Thai Burn and Wound Management Society Successfully Concluded

From March 25 to 27, 2026, the 11th Annual Conference of the Thai Burn and Wound Management Society was successfully held in Hua Hin, Thailand, and MEBO International was invited to attend. Under the core theme of “Sustainable Clinical Repair Strategies for Burns and Wounds,” the conference featured multiple specialized sessions and brought together over 300 experts and scholars in burn and wound repair from Thailand, Southeast Asia, Europe, the United States, and beyond.

During the opening session, Professor Pornprom Muangman, President of the Thai Burn and Wound Management Society, pointed out that burn and wound repair remain critical global healthcare challenges. He called on medical professionals from all countries to uphold the principles of cooperation and shared success, deepen professional knowledge exchange, build academic communication networks, and advance clinical treatment standards through professional consensus, so that more patients with wounds can have access to high-quality medical care.

To enhance the relevance and effectiveness of conference discussions, this year’s meeting established dedicated symposiums based on different wound types, including burn wounds, chronic wounds, and traumatic wounds. Each symposium provided comprehensive and in-depth presentations on systematic treatment strategies and clinical practical techniques for the respective wound types.

Having been available in the Thai market for nearly 30 years, Moist Exposed Burn Ointment MEBO has long enjoyed strong recognition from local healthcare professionals and consumers due to its outstanding clinical efficacy. Following his opening remarks, Professor Pornprom Muangman visited the MEBO International booth for an in-depth conversation with the on-site team, discussing the current status of burn wounds in Thailand and the application of MEBO. The mechanism of action and clinical effectiveness of MEBO also drew many attendees to the booth, where the team provided detailed explanations of its clinical application methods. The product’s professional strength and clinical value in wound repair received unanimous praise.

This participation not only deepened Thai healthcare professionals’ conceptual understanding of regenerative medical technology but also fully demonstrated the significant advantages of MEBO in treating complex and hard-to-heal wounds. Looking ahead, MEBO International will deepen its collaboration with its long-term partner in Thailand, DKSH, leveraging the resources and expertise of both parties to bring the hope of recovery to more patients with wounds.
