Li Li Leads Delegation to Bahrain for High-Level Meetings

From January 13 to 15, 2026, MEBO Group completed its first overseas delegation visit of the year with a high-level mission to the Kingdom of Bahrain. Led by Board Member Li Li and Vice President Liu Gang, the delegation engaged in intensive discussions with key Bahraini government bodies, including the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB), the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MOIC), the Supreme Council of Health (SCH), the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA), and the Labour Fund (Tamkeen). The delegation also conducted on-site inspections of the Bahrain International Investment Park, laying the groundwork for future project implementation.

On January 15, Li Li met with H.E. Khalid Humaidan, Minister of Sustainable Development and Chief Executive of EDB. Humaidan welcomed the delegation and highly recognized MEBO Group’s technological strength and global experience in regenerative medicine. He referenced the positive outcomes of trilateral discussions held in San Francisco in October 2025 among EDB, the Bay Area Council, and MEBO Group Chairman Kevin Xu, reaffirming Bahrain’s strong inter-agency commitment to supporting MEBO’s local investment initiatives. Li Li stated that MEBO Group will take this visit as a strategic starting point to deepen cooperation with Bahraini authorities and accelerate the execution of its Middle East expansion strategy.

As a long-standing participant in GCC markets, MEBO Group has built a strong regional presence centered in the UAE, with its core regenerative medical products widely adopted in hospitals and retail channels across multiple GCC countries. Since 2015, the Group has further expanded into regenerative skincare and health products, strengthening its brand influence through academic collaboration and localized market development.

This Bahrain visit marks a key step in MEBO Group’s Middle East strategy, with a focus on leveraging Bahrain’s role as a regional medical and investment hub to establish an integrated platform encompassing manufacturing, regional operations, and market outreach across the GCC and wider Middle East and Africa region.
