In 2025, MEBO International joined hands with its Peruvian partner Discontinental to successfully launch the Latin American Regenerative Medicine Technology Seminar program, which received widespread acclaim. In 2026, MEBO International will continue to advance the program with a total of six seminars planned throughout the year. Two of the seminars will be closely aligned with the Healing for Seniors initiative jointly launched by MEBO International and the Clinton Foundation.
The second seminar was held on April 18, 2026, focusing on the application of regenerative medical technologies in the treatment of elderly wounds. It aligns closely with MEBO International’s “Silver Healing: Building an Equitable Community Care System for Chronic Wounds” initiative. The seminar specially invited Kenai Benítez Salgado, founder of Mexico’s MediCalli program, to deliver a speech. MEBO integrated relevant technical training with grassroots community medical programs to support the accessibility of medical resources and health equity.

During this seminar, MEBO International specially invited Kenai Benítez Salgado, founder of the Mexican primary care project Medical Home, and Yu Ran, Head Nurse of the Wound Care Center at Nanyang Nanshi Hospital, to deliver special presentations. They deeply integrated the “Silver Healing” specialized medical training with local grassroots community healthcare entrepreneurship projects, effectively enhancing the accessibility of primary care services and supporting the development of health equity. This seminar was primarily aimed at community healthcare workers from Peru’s Padomi Home Care Project, with over 80 offline participants, while also attracting online participation from healthcare workers in Argentina, Costa Rica, and other Latin American countries. The event was conducted both offline and online, and the overall response was enthusiastic.

The successful holding of the first two seminars has not only provided Latin American healthcare workers with new approaches to wound treatment but has also expanded the practical application of regenerative medical technology in community care settings, further promoting the diversified development of regenerative medical technology in the field of chronic wound treatment. In the second half of this year, MEBO International will continue to organize four more seminars, steadily advancing the rooting and growth of regenerative medicine in Latin America.
Looking ahead, MEBO International looks forward to partnering with more collaborators to promote the concept of health equity, help improve the accessibility of medical resources in Latin America, effectively benefit the elderly population with chronic wounds and medical needs, and bring lasting, positive changes to public health in Latin America and around the world.
